Djibril Cisse is a striker for Queens Park Rangers in the English Premier League. Cissé began his career at AC Arles when he was eight years old, in 1989. After seven years with the club, he spent six months with Nîmes Olympique before joining the Auxerre junior system. Cissé worked in the system for two years before being promoted to the first team in 1998. He spent six seasons at Auxerre, making 166 matches and scored 90 goals. When he joined Liverpool, he made the next important step in his career.Cissé scored five goals in 24 first-team outings for Liverpool in all competitions during the 2004–05 season. He scored two goals in Liverpool’s UEFA Super Cup victory in 2005. Cissé also scored the first goal in the 2006 FA Cup Final for Liverpool. Before joining Marseille on a permanent basis, he had a loan spell with the club during which he scored 15 goals in 25 games. In 2008, Cissé returned to the Premier League on loan to Sunderland, where he scored 11 goals in 39 games. He signed a four-year contract with Panathinaikos on June 25, 2009.He moved to Serie A team Lazio in the summer of 2011. Cissé joined Queens Park Rangers for a reported £4 million on January 31, 2012, and scored on his debut in a 2–2 draw with Aston Villa.
