After a 1-1 draw against Hungary, England’s Fifa World Cup 2022 qualification is in jeopardy.

While England leads Group I with 20 points and Poland is second with 17, England needs four points with two games left to qualify for the World Cup.

This heightens the stakes, as England must win their final two games to guarantee straight qualifying.

A win and a draw in either match would guarantee their place in the World Cup.

If Poland wins both of their remaining games and England loses one of them, Poland will qualify on the basis of goal difference.
