Florent Johan Malouda is a French footballer who now plays for Chelsea and the France national team as a left winger. Malouda began his career as a street player in his teenage years, attracting the attention of scouts from French club Châteauroux, and he travelled to Paris to join the team. Malouda made his senior debut in the French Ligue 2 at the age of 16 and played 57 games for Châteauroux. Malouda was later recruited by Guingamp, a French top-flight club, where his skills was shown.Malouda joined Olympique Lyonnais in 2003. Malouda’s tenure with Lyon was highlighted by a man of the match performance against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League and his 10 goals, which helped Lyon win their sixth straight Ligue 1 title in 2006–07. On July 8, 2007, he signed a three-year contract with Chelsea.It was for an unknown sum. In a Premier League match against Liverpool on August 19, Malouda won a penalty given by referee Rob Styles. On September 16, 2008, Malouda scored his first two goals under Luis Felipe Scolari against Girondins de Bordeaux in the Champions League group stages. In the 2009–10 Premier League campaign, he was instrumental in setting up Chelsea’s opening goal against Manchester United.the Premier League season 2009–10. Malouda earned his France debut in a match against Poland on November 17, 2004. He soon became a fixture in the team, scoring his first goal for his country against Hungary on May 31, 2005.
