Odisha FC, a team in the Indian Super League (ISL), has finalised the signing of Lalruatthara, a 26-year-old India defender, ahead of the tournament’s eighth season.

Lalruatthara began his professional career in 2015 with Aizawl FC, where he was a member of the I-League champions. In 2017, he joined the Kerala Blasters and was named the ISL Emerging Player of the Season in only his second season in the league.
Lalruatthara has played for India’s senior and under-23 teams. “I’m excited to represent the club by giving it my all. I’m ecstatic to be playing under a new system, coach, and staff, and I’m looking forward to learning new skills to better my game. I’m excited to play with some familiar friends and to help Odisha FC reach new heights as a club “After the signing, Lalruatthara remarked.
Rohan Sharma, the CEO of Odisha FC, stated, “I admire his defensive flexibility and believe he can make a significant contribution to our defence. I’m sure he’s eager to prove himself. He’s a defender worthy of the national team, and he’ll have plenty of chances to show it at OFC.”
