IND vs AUS: Sourav Ganguly Predicts 4-0 Victory For India In Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 vs Australia

Former India National Cricket Team captain and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president, Sourav Ganguly, has predicted that Rohit Sharma & Co. will absolutely crush Australia National Cricket Team in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023.

The first Test between India and Australia was played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Jamtha, Nagpur. The Aussies were bundled out for 177 & 91 in their two innings and the Men In Blue won by an innings and 132 runs.

Captain Rohit Sharma, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin performed exceptionally in the match, with Jadeja winning the Player of the Match award for his stupendous all-round show.

The second Test between the Rohit Sharma-led side and the Pat Cummins-led side was played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. Australia batted better this time around and posted 263 & 113 on the board. However, it was not at all enough as India managed to secure a 6-wicket victory.

All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was once again the top performer for India and he won the Player of the Match award. Also, with the victory in the first two Tests, India managed to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

It will be hard for Australia to beat India – Sourav Ganguly

Sourav Ganguly believes that India can beat the visitors 4-0 in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023. Sourav Ganguly said that winning the remaining games of the series will be very hard for Australia as Rohit Sharma & Co. are a far superior team on Indian soil.

“I see 4-0. It will be hard for Australia to beat India. In these conditions, we are a far superior team,” Sourav Ganguly was quoted as saying to Rev Sports.

Meanwhile, the third Test will be played at the Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore from March 1 to 5 and the fourth Test will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad from March 9 to 13.
