Kylian Mbappe Lottin is a French professional footballer who plays as a striker for Paris Saint-Germain and the France National Football Team. Mbappe was born in Paris on December 20, 1998.
Mbappe began his coaching career with his father. His achievement at the Clairefontaine programme throughout his youth was outstanding.
He started his career at AS Bondy, where he stayed for 11 years. He joined Monaco’s junior squad in the year 2013. For France’s under-19 squad, he has scored seven goals.
Mbappe made his senior Monaco squad debut against SM Caen in the 2015 season. He became the club’s youngest goalscorer when he scored his first goal for the club at the age of 17 in 2016.
In 2017, he joined PSG. From Monaco, he was signed on a loan deal. After Neymar, he was the second most expensive player to be moved.
He scored his first goal for PSG in a 5–1 Ligue 1 triumph over Metz.
Mbappe qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup with France in 2017. At the age of 18, he was the second youngest player in the France national team, after Maryan Wisnieski.
Rise to glory
Mbappe scored his first hat-trick in the Coupe de la Ligue against Stade Rennais, the first hat-trick by a Monaco player in the tournament since Sonny Anderson in 1997.
He became the second youngest French scorer in UEFA Champions League history, after Karim Benzema, when he scored a half-volley for Monaco against Manchester City.
