Background

In his first season with Tours FC in 2007, Koscielny made significant development and helped his club gain promotion to Ligue 1. He was also selected to the season’s top XI.
In 2009, the centre defender continued his excellent form at Lorient FC, where he was considered one of the greatest players in his position. He was gaining a reputation as a shrewd and quick defender. Arsenal were interested in his exploits and footballing potential, and he joined the Premier League club for £8.45 million the following season.

Rise to Glory
Arsenal’s Koscielny had a fantastic rookie season. He was continually making outstanding tackles and stopping the opponents from breaking through their defensive line. Arsenal overcame Barcelona 2-1 in the round of 16 of the Champions League in 2011, and Koscielny produced one of his greatest performances to date.
The Frenchman was a valuable member of the club since, in addition to being a defender, he could also score goals. Koscielny has scored 24 goals for Arsenal thus far. He is Arsenal’s all-time leading scorer in the Premier League. In the last seven years, he has been recognised as one of Arsenal’s most significant players.
Arsenal won the FA Cup three times with Koscielny: in 2014, 2015, and 2017. In 2014, 2015, and 2017, he won the FA Community Shield. Over the years, the centre defender has played a key role in his team’s FA Cup wins.
Low Points
More than thirty yellow cards and five red cards have been issued to Koscielny. This has caused him to miss a couple critical games and has had an impact on the team’s success. He has missed more games than any other player due to suspension rather than injury.
To represent Arsenal in more games and boost their prospects of winning more trophies, the centre back must improve on preventing violent tackles.
With Arsenal, the Frenchman has yet to win the Premier League. Despite winning six titles with Arsenal, he has yet to win the Premier League.
