STRICTLY Come Dancing viewers all said the same thing about the massive shake-up to this year’s series.
Tonight the BBC show returned to our screens for the highly anticipated 20th season.
Fans were also treated to an incredible dance by the Strictly Come Dancing pros at the beginning of the episode.
Eagle-eyed viewers were over the moon when they realised that the live audience are BACK and there is no more social distancing.
One said on Twitter: “I know it sounds sappy, but how good is it seeing #Strictly with a full audience – as much a part of the show as the incredible routines. A huge well done to the whole @bbcstrictly team for getting through pando Strictly. Now bring on the standing ovations.”
Another added: “So much better with a studio audience. #Strictly is absolutely back!”
“Having the audience back is making me a bit teary #Strictly #SCD,” a third chimed in.
A fourth tweeted: “Sooo excited especially with having an audience back #Strictly.”
The audience are finally back after TWO years.
Strictly Come Dancing 2022 cast
The show decided to scrap a live audience in 2020 due to Covid-19.
Social distancing was also put in place to stop the spread of the virus.
But now, a selected few are able to enjoy the dancers show off their best moves in real life in the studio.
Meanwhile others broke down in tears as the show returned for its 20th series tonight.
This evening’s episode started with an incredible dance routine performed by the the professional dancers.
Nancy Xu and Giovanni Pernice, Nadiya Bychkova and Kai Widdrington, Dianne Buswell and Johannes Radebe showed off their best moves in a selection of different locations before appearing on stage in the studio.
Nina Simone’s tune Feeling Good played in the background.
They were later joined by the rest of the professionals Nadiya Bychkova, Graziano di Prima, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Cameron Lombard, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk and Jowita Przystal.
Viewers were left feeling very emotional about the return of the much-loved show Strictly Come Dancing.
One confessed on Twitter: “#Strictly crying already..”
Another said: “time to cry at #strictly let’s go.”
“This song makes me cry without fail whenever I listen to it, they did not,” a third added.
