Today Football Prediction : Leeds secure a 2-2 draw at home against Everton thanks to a Raphinha rocket

Raphinha scored a second-half equaliser for Leeds United, who fought back twice to draw 2-2 with Everton in the Premier League on Saturday. It was the Yorkshire club’s first point of the season.
Raphinha, who was called up to the Brazilian team for the first time last week, smashed one past Jordan Pickford in the 72nd minute after Everton winger Demarai Gray believed he had secured the visitors’ second consecutive victory.

Gray, who joined Rafa Benitez’s side from Bayer Leverkusen in July, rifled the ball past Illan Meslier from a tight angle inside the box in the 50th minute of a gritty match to make it 2-1.

Everton took the lead against the run of play thanks to Dominic Calvert-30th-minute Lewin’s penalty, which came after a VAR review when the on-field referee failed to see Leeds captain Liam Cooper tugging on his shirt.

The goal hushed a boisterous Elland Road, where a full house was seeing a top-flight match for the first time in 17 years, but Mateusz Klich raced on to Patrick Bamford’s excellent ball to equalise before the interval.

Everton, who won their league opener 3-1 at home against Southampton, travel to Brighton & Hove Albion next Saturday, while Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds may have a tough test at winless Burnley the following day.
