A brand-new jersey for the Mumbai Indians‘ upcoming Women’s Premier League match has been unveiled. The Mumbai-based team kept blue as the shirt’s primary colour but added a hint of orange to the sides to give it a different appearance from that of the men’s team.
The opening match of the Women’s Premier League 2023 will take place between Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians on the following Saturday. A portion of MI’s team gathered in Mumbai for the training sessions before their first game.

The BCCI has acquired three more businesses to its roster of sponsors, days after confirming the Tata Group as the event’s official sponsor. The Women’s Premier League has added Tata as a partner, along with longtime IPL sponsors Dream11 and CEAT. Amul, a significant dairy corporation, has drawn greater attention as BCCI is amassing big sums of money in front of the maiden Women’s IPL season.
The Mumbai Indians WPL 2023 lineup appears to be strong:
Harmanpreet Kaur, Nat Sciver-Brunt, Amelia Kerr, Pooja Vastrakar, Yastika Bhatia, Amanjot Kaur, Hayley Matthews, Heather Graham, and Chloe Tryon were just a few of the players that MI’s team owners signed at the player auction.
The Mumbai Indians team for the WPL in 2023 is strong overall, although some supporters have complained that their bowling is not the best. In addition, the franchise would be concerned about Pooja Vastrakar’s availability. While she was just ruled out of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 semifinal owing to an upper respiratory ailment, MI signed her for 1.9 crores at the WPL Auction 2023.
