Yohan Cabaye is a French international footballer who currently plays for Newcastle United in the Premier League and the French national team. Cabaye is a box-to-box midfielder with good vision, ball control, and technical skills. His penalty kicks have made him renowned. Cabaye began his football career at the age of five, when he joined his hometown team Tourcoing FC. He joined Lille after seven years of intensive training at the academy.He became a regular starter the following season and guided his club to victory in the 2004 UEFA Intertoto Cup. Cabaye evolved into a playmaker over time, scoring an incredible 15 goals from midfield in the 2009-2010 season, his finest professional season to date. Cabaye signed a five-year contract with Newcastle United in June of 2011.
